This is my first blog entry…yay! Consider this a test….meet our dogs, Manny, left, and Jane. They’re enjoying a trot on a treadmill we bought on Craigslist in an attempt to give them exercise when it’s too cold to go outside. They liked it and it was hilarious—unfortunately, we had to stand there and give them treats for they’d get bored and hop off, so that lost it’s charm quick. It was a valiant effort, but we gave the treadmill away to charity. Time to go for a real walk…. To return to my website please go to: www.ellenjaskol.com.

I love this picture! both of these pups are so cute…but I have to say, I’m partial to the Boston Terrier. We have one too. She’s a black and white named Bette Davis. I like the brown though!

Bette Davis DOES look like a Boston Terrier! great name! Yes–after I got Manny home from the Denver Municipal Animal Shelter, I googled Boston Terriers, and some are “red” or brown color. I think they’re rare, but that’s the extent to what I know about him. He’s a wonderful dog. Cuddly and snorts when he’s happy (sort of like when a cat purrs).
